Cumberland Common Good (CCG)

We specialise in helping NFPs more clearly understand themselves, in order to make better decisions about shaping their future through identifying opportunities for operational efficiency savings, revenue growth or adaptation in a true social services context.

CCG operates on a cost recovery model. We seek to engage specialist commercial advice on a nil margin or pro bono basis via connections and partnerships with some of the State’s leading professional services entities who are seeking meaningful ways to meet their ESG responsibilities and maintain their social licence to operate. Where possible, CCG looks to minimise our service costs through grant and funding mechanisms available via our networks.

Our values-based approach is underpinned by the principles of Rotary International’s 4 way test:

  • Is it the Truth?
  • Is it Fair to all concerned?
  • Will it build Goodwill and better relationships?
  • Will it be Beneficial to all?

and delivered using commercially proven management consulting methodologies that incorporate:

  • Evidence based solutions
  • Conscious Capitalism and Humanistic Business
  • Collaboration and Partnership
  • Prioritisation

to identify a range of potential revenue increasing options including (but not limited to):

  • Social Enterprise development or acquisition
  • Converting private to public wealth
  • Existing service commercialisation
  • Mergers with other NFPs
  • Collaboration across private, government and NFP sectors

We operate in this space with you, and for you, because it is where we choose to be to make a positive difference in the world.
