Darren Perera

Darren started his IT career at 17 wanting to be a coder, but he found he loved helping people with technology. After 35 years in the IT field, he is still helping customers with their technology. People haven’t changed, but technology has. Most business owners he meets want to operate their business and trust someone with IT.

Darren founded SecureIT Services 20 years ago to help companies develop and scale through trusted IT advice. It’s why he’s had many consumers for that long.

Darren has worked in Australia, NZ, Singapore, U.K., Paris, Milan, and Hamburg with some outstanding teams, many of them are now his closest friends and allies.

Darren joined his local Rotary club in 2015 and connected with its principle, Service over Self. It’s his life’s work. He has been a Rotarian for seven years, serving as President, Secretary, and Club Service Director in two clubs. Six of those years have been on the board.  Darren has been Rotary District 9455 Technology Officer for two years. He is a Perth SMBiT member and has served on local sports committees. Rotary has been a terrific method for Darren to help his community.
